Have you always wanted to try graffiti painting?

Join us for a spray-painting workshop and create a collaborative artwork under the guidance of visual artist Jaakko Vuorenmäki!

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced participants, and no previous experience is required. Juice and soft drinks will be provided for all participants.

Jaakko Vuorenmäki is a visual artist from Lahti whose work explores urban spaces, their visual layers, and the traces left by time. He is especially known for artworks inspired by the urban environment and for his collaborative community art projects. He has led numerous painting workshops across Finland.

Throughout the summer, Haihatus Art Center’s community art project has brought together artists and local residents to create art for shared public spaces. One of the highlights of the project is a Joutsa-themed mural in the Pertunmaa underpass. Now it’s time to celebrate the project’s finale with a community workshop!
