There is plenty to do in Haihatus’ Art Garden for younger visitors as well. The area features a playground with a sandbox, two slides, and the popular hobby horse stable with its resident hobby horses.
Last year’s crowd favorite, the Art Bouncy Castle, is also making a return.
Art Camping – Stay Overnight Surrounded by Art
Would you like to extend your Midsummer experience?
Camping is available within the Haihatus exhibition grounds in the spirit of Art Camping. Sleep surrounded by artworks and wake up in the heart of the Finnish summer countryside.
There is also space for a limited number of camper vans. Early reservations are recommended!
Café, Museum Shop, and Dog-Friendly Exhibition
The vegan summer café Fantasia will be serving sweet and savory treats throughout the weekend, including vegan doughnuts made using a recipe from the local Tikander’s Grill.
Works by artists featured in the summer exhibition, as well as art and practical craft items made by local artisans, will be available for purchase in the museum shop during exhibition opening hours.
There is easily enough to see and experience at Haihatus for an entire day—or even a whole weekend. The event is open to everyone, including dogs. In fact, one of this year’s exhibiting artists is a dog!
Welcome to celebrate Midsummer in a place where art, nature, music, and togetherness come together in a truly unique way!
