Welcome to explore the art of collage at Haihatus Art Centre!

In this free collage workshop led by Mögart Co, you can experiment with collage-making in a relaxed and accessible way. Create your own collage or make a bookmark, postcard, greeting card, or another small artwork. As Mögart Co puts it: ”A collage is like a pizza – you can put anything on it.”

The workshop is held on a drop-in basis, so you are welcome to arrive whenever it suits you, stay for a short while or spend the entire workshop creating. There is no fixed starting or ending time.

The workshop is suitable for all ages. Children below school age are welcome to participate together with a parent or guardian.

No previous experience or materials are required. If you wish, you are welcome to bring your own materials. The workshop will be held in Finnish.

Mögart Co’s work consists primarily of collages created from recycled materials, shaped by a distinctive Frankenstein-inspired aesthetic. The artist behind the name has long been active in DIY and punk culture. Their artistic practice is rooted in self-directed learning, experimentation, and learning by doing. Mögart Co is a founding member of the Turku Collage Club and part of the PEHM collective.

The workshop takes place at Haihatus Art Centre as part of the Rihmasto (Rhizome) Summer Exhibition 2026, where works by Mögart Co are also on display.
