
Jaakko Autio
Is a Finnish sound artist whose works have been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Finland and abroad. His sound art explores human‘s belonging to the world and deals with questions about the future of humanity. In his works, Autio strives to cross invisible borders and create space for different stories, perspectives and cultural backgrounds.

Petri Eskelinen
Born in Rovaniemi in 1975, the artist is interested in problems that can be solved mechanically. Eskelinen’s works are inventive constructions that the viewer can experiment with in some way and find a surprising relationship with the work. There is always something to discover and explore in the works, which is not visible at first glance. Eskelinen calls his works contact works because their purpose is only realized when used. The works strive to be analog as a counterweight to the ever-present digital media.

Vilja Joensuu
An autodidact artist from Helsinki who works with textiles. He deals with issues of power and relationships, the placement of personal experiences in the structures of society and cultures. The subcultural background can be seen in ways of doing things and perspectives: questioning traditions, self-determination and experimentation.

Mika Kiviniemi
Mika Kiviniemi is a performance and media artist living in Oulu. In recent years, Kiviniemi’s work has consisted of multi-art installations, video works and kinetic sound sculptures. The nature of the works is often found in combinations of different media, techniques and starting points. Kiviniemi graduated from Aalto University in 2022. Kiviniemi has held solo exhibitions, e.g. Galleria Huuto in Helsinki, Galleria 5 in Oulu and Mältinrantan Art Center in Tampere.

Elena Laurinavičiūtė
Elena is a contemporary artist based in Vilnius, Lithuania. She is captivated by the interplay between the physicality of clay and the intangibility of sound. Her work focuses on creating experimental aerophonic sound objects from ceramics, producing buzzing and whistling sounds that shape the landscape of spatial air vibrations. Both the visual and auditory aspects of her creations hold significant meaning. During her studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Elena participated in several ceramic symposiums and residencies.

Henna Nerg
Artist originally from Kuopio (b.1991), who graduated with a master’s degree from the Bergen Academy of Fine Arts in 2023. He works with otherness and queer themes using sculpture, installation and performance. In addition to his personal artistic work, he has founded the drag activist performance groups HagFags and Wild Thingz. He has founded and curated the After Schools Special series of events in Bergen, which serves as a multi-artistic platform for international art communities.

Simonas Nekrošius
Simonas Nekrošius is an interdisciplinary artist from Vilnius, renowned for his expertise in sound art and the creation of DIY electroacoustic instruments, sound objects and performances. His artistic philosophy embraces the principles of ready-made and DIY, highlighting the continuous evolution of creation rather than focusing solely on the end product. This approach ensures that his projects maintain an intriguing indeterminacy, capable of evolving over time. Additionally, Simonas plays a pivotal role as co-curator of Vilnius-based independent art initiatives, including Studium P and Retrito Smarsas.

Tuomo Vuoteenoma
Artistic director and founder of KITA, born in 1980. He does kinetic multi-arts in Joutsa. He is an industrial designer by education. He has organized numerous multi-art events and exhibitions in Helsinki and Joutsa. In addition to KITA productions, he organizes kinetic art exhibitions and workshops in various cultural centers in Finland and abroad.
